Biofile Ltd introduces a cost efficient and ready-to-use lactose solution LACTODYN.  The solution is used in lactose tolerance testing to diagnose lactose intolerance.

One 330 ml bottle of LACTODYN contains 50 g lactose, which is the recommended dose by WHO for adults in lactose tolerance testing.

LACTODYN, delivered in ordinary soft drink bottles, is like a lightly carbonated drink with a cola flavour.  The solution is easy to drink and even children like it.

LACTODYN is convenient for accurately administering the required dose.

In lactose tolerance testing, the standard dose for an adult is one bottle of LACTODYN solution (330 ml/50 g lactose).  The dose for children is 6.6 ml (1.0 g lactose) or 13.3 ml (2.0 g lactose) per kg of body weight.  The total children’s dose should not exceed 50 g.

Ingredients

Lactose, purified water, acidity control compound E330, preservative E211, cola aroma, foodstuff color E150, and carbonic acid.

Storage

When stored unopened a shelf-life of 3 years can be expected at room temperature.  An opened bottle can be stored in the refrigerator for 7 days.  Best when served chilled.
