Biofile develops, manufactures and markets diagnostic tests to support the clinical diagnosis and monitoring of autoimmune and infectious diseases, not to forget the tolerance testing. Biofile research & development, production plant and clinical service laboratory operations are located in Turku, Finland.

Development and Production

Biofile products are based on traditional methods like ELISA and IFA technologies. Some 80% of the production is exported to laboratories worldwide, mainly to Europe, USA and Middle East, both as Biofile branded and OEM products.

Currently the production portfolio includes the Biofons Celiac Disease Panel and Biofons Inflammatory Bowel Disease Panel. Celiac Disease Panel contains five tests: AGA IgA and IgG, tTG IgA and IgG and Endomysium IgA (hUC) IFA test.

New additions to Biofile production range are oral solutions for Glucose and Lactose tolerance tests.

Marketing

To support its product portfolio, Biofile imports and markets diagnostic kits - mainly to the Nordic countries and the Baltic region. In addition, the distribution to the other European Union countries and Middle East is growing rapidly.

Clinical Service Laboratory
